KaunasJuda.lt is a leisure and city guide platform for Kaunas. Your personal data controller is Kaunas Juda, company registration number , address , email labas@kaunasjuda.lt. This policy applies to kaunasjuda.lt and our newsletter.
Your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter. Our business enquiry form collects your name, business name, email address, phone number and message. Our own usage statistics cover searches, filters and page views using a random session identifier. We do not use IP addresses or advertising identifiers for these statistics. Google Analytics collects visit statistics. With your consent, this includes a cookie-generated browser identifier, a truncated IP address, pages visited, approximate country and city, and device and browser type. Without consent, only cookieless signals without an identifier are sent. Saved places are stored only in your browser’s localStorage. We do not send them to our servers. We use geolocation only with your permission, to show nearby content. We do not store it.
Newsletter: we process your email address with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time. Business enquiries: we process data to answer requests and discuss cooperation, on the basis of entering into or performing a contract under Article 6(1)(b). Usage statistics: we collect aggregated events to improve the site, based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). The GDPR does not apply to fully anonymous data. Geolocation: this requires your browser permission and is not sent to or stored on our servers. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We stop sending messages after you unsubscribe, but may retain records of requests as evidence for two years. Business enquiry data is kept for one year after the last correspondence unless we enter into a contract, in which case statutory retention periods apply. Usage statistics are kept for up to 12 months, then aggregated or anonymised. You control saved places in localStorage and can delete them in your browser at any time. We do not retain geolocation data.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share only what is necessary to provide the service with trusted data processors. Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics 4. We send only data collected during site visits, as described above: cookie-based data requires consent; without consent, only cookieless signals are sent. Other processors include hosting and email providers, and website maintenance partners. They process data only on our instructions and provide appropriate safeguards. We aim to keep and process data within the European Union or European Economic Area. Google Analytics data is collected on EU servers but may also be transferred outside the EEA. These transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
You may request information about processing, access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. To exercise your rights, email labas@kaunasjuda.lt. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity. If you believe we have infringed your rights, you can contact Lithuania’s State Data Protection Inspectorate at ada.lt.
