The Dubrava Reserve nature trail: a 1.9 km route through forest and raised-bog surroundings, with a starting point and information for planning your trip.
Dubrava Reserve protects a natural raised bog and forest where no commercial activity has taken place since 1968. The nature trail is 1.9 km long, with eight information panels introducing local plants and animals.
The protected reserve covers about 120 ha, conserving a raised bog and mature pine woodland. Information boards help visitors identify local plants and animals. Follow the marked route for your walk; boardwalk sections and a woodland path provide different walking surfaces.
The Dubrava Arboretum in Girionys is a separate attraction. In your navigation app, select the reserve's trail location in Dubrava Forest. If you also want to visit the arboretum, plan it as a separate stop.
